Proximity Sensor doesn't work often .

My proximity sensor in my L820 doesnot work often . The light doesn't go off while on call which annoys me a lot . It again works only when i restart my phone. Again after few calls it doesn't work . Is the same thing happening to u also guys . Plz reply .

The light doesn't go off while on call which annoys me a lot .

The light is NOT supposed to go off when you're on call. Its purpose is to turn the screen off when you bring the phone close to your ear.

By light, I believe he meant the screen backlight turning off. To the OP: do you have a screen protector which might be causing this?

This problem happened to my 820 before, the problem is that there are too much dust in front of the proximity sensor.
I disassembled my 820 and clear up the dust to get the problem solved.
