[Q[ WP8.1 and Live Tiles OFF

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn off 'Live Tiles'. I mainly want to turn off the People live tile but any advice for the others would be greatly appreciated.

For so far I know you can't turn off live tiles, because then it aren't live tiles anymore. If it bothers you don't pin it to your start screen, that's the only solution I think.

Thanks for that, I didn't know they were no longer classed as 'Live Tiles', and it doesn't bother me that much, I'd just like a larger People Tile, but without the changing pictures.

Okay, I don't know if that's possible, I agree with you, that's the reason why I've a small tile for contacts. Maybe if you filter the contacts?
