Qi Charging Speed Questions

Few questions about the 830 and its wireless charging.

1. How fast does it charge?
   • Is it a modern charging pad?
   • Which pad did you use?
2. Has anyone used Bluetooth + Navigation at the same time while charging? Is it fast enough?
3. How does it compare to USB?

1. Depends on alot of factors.
The brand of charging plate , distance to plate , phone case , proper alignment but generally the charging speed is around 50%-75% of a wired charger.
I use a $5 qi charger off eBay.
2. No clue
3. Usb is generally faster than QI and allows file transfer to PC.
QI can generate a fair bit of heat , generally nothing to worry about though.
With QI you could be charging your phone whenever you set it down without messing with cables although this might not be healthy for the battery in the long run..
Since some genius put the usb port at the top the only way to use a charging dock/stand would be with QI.

It does charge at about 70% of wired charging.
I use Nokia's DT-900 charging pad.
I have used Bluetooth+Navigation simultaneously in my car whilst charging and it's still fast enough to keep up with the heavy use. In order words, the battery's capacity stays the same.
USB is only slightly faster than wireless in my opinion.

I use an Aukey combined wireless charging pad / portable power pack and it charges up my 820 even while using sat-nav in relatively quick time.
