I know absolutely nothing about the gaming scene these days, so for all I know, some avatars with Nazi symbolism could be from gaming, such as this guy's avatar.

I have a friend who is a jail guard (and his brother is a parole officer), so I am familiar with symbolism used by neo-Nazi white supremacists such as Aryan Nations, etc.

What is the forum policy with regard to usage of Nazi symbolism in avatars? Is it ok if it's from the world of gaming, not the world of neo-Nazi white supremacists? Or is it never ok?

Good question. That could be from gaming. There's a few kill the Zombie games out there. There's no swastika, so I think it's ok. If I remember correctly, I think it's against the law in Germany & Austria to display a swastika in public.

We have no policy for that. I say just ask him to remove it. Its an avatar it is supposed to say something about you. To me that doesn't say gamer it says hater. I am quite sure if that is from a game there are many other things he could have chosen. Its the same with the rebbel flag its a simble of hate to some people and should be removed. I want to make this perfectly clear Jesus or a cross for example can be a simble of hate to some people. The destinction is that some people might hate to see a cross but it was never a simble of hate. Does that make sense? I don't want to start removing everything people complain about just because one person doesn't like it.
