Question about old back-up files (restoring to XL)

I have some old MS Live account backups from older Lumia devices that are dated back to 2012. I saw them when I first restored from back-up today. How do I delete these from MS servers? I tried going to OneDrive about 2 months ago and deleting them there, but they are still reappearing somehow on new phone restore.

There may be other ways, but I think you can delete them from your MS account on a PC.
