Question about unlocked version...

I do not like that Sprint replaced the track ball with a D-pad. I'm still new to this but is there an unlocked version with the track ball that I can use with Sprint? Or are all the unlocked versions only GSM (Sprint is CDMA and therefore different right?)?

Yup. You're stuck with the Sprint version, unless you find a way to convert the superior Verizon one, but that still doesn't fix your trackball woes.
