I am on the Insider fast as of now. Thought of jumping on since it is so close to RTM. There are some issues that I started seeing from the latest build:
1. Notifications - very hit or miss. From Skype preview to Whatsapp, I don't get notifications. Updates only happen when I go into the app. Notifications are turned on (and I toggled them on and off) from within the apps, as well as from System settings. Both have permission to run in the background. Skype was always troublesome to begin with, but Whatsapp is a new phenomenon
2. (Facebook) messenger - will start, try loading messages and crash. Could get it to show messages only once when I uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled the app. Going forward, same issue.
It seems like communication apps are not that well behaved on my phone. Is this something that I am uniquely affected by, or are there others out there? You know, misery likes company.
And no, I would prefer not to hard reset.
Apart from these, I have the usual Bluetooth action center freeze, and the occasional "No internet" on Wifi... though the latter one is less frequent now.
All in all, I don't seem to be able to trust my notifications in general. Sadly.
