I don't get it... I mean my first windows phone was a 520... To me that was better then my iphone 3GS I had....ok so the app store isn't as varied as google but two reasons why

1) google play store had a few years Headstart so obviously it will get more apps

2) its not the app store that lacks the apps via Microsoft....its the developers who don't want to code for windows as they are happy enough as it is with android and apple.

My budget Lumia 520 was better then my budget HTC wildfire s as the wildfire kept closing down due to low memory. Never had this with the Lumia 520. Yes google has more apps...which means more viruses as its an open source platform...something that Microsoft store isn't. Plus google was stupid enough to allow pirate apps on the store where you can download paid apps for free. Nothing like that here. Microsoft has a strict app code so 0% of viruses can come into the store unlike google.
As for the keyboard... I love it....it works for me using swipe.... 90% of people here don't use 3 different languages to type. And if your struggling then there is two options

1) move back to google
2) create a keyboard app

Personally I spent years with android and not once was I impressed enough to buy a flagship phone like the Samsung galaxy. But the Lumia 520 impressed me so much I bought an unlocked 1520. Never had such a great phone.
