Random switch to tablet mode when docked

Okay, I set Windows contiuum to switch without asking when detaching the tablet. The always ask, got a little bit old.

Now, with that setting, at random times, my Book just switches to tablet mode while sitting idle or with me doing work. I can go into notifications and switch it back, but this is almost as annoying as the always ask before switching mode in continuum.

Anyone know a way to resolve this so both work?

Continuum has always had a lot of annoying tics that you just have to live with. I use a non-default scaling level on my SB (250%) along with keeping my taskbar on the right for greater touch friendliness. That particular combination causes the taskbar to constantly resize itself when I go back and forth between docked and undocked. I had the same issue on my SP3. I'm sure as Continuum gains maturity, these things will work themselves out, but for now...

I was having this issue and decided to disable auto switching as well as making it "never ask me again". With that said, the recent firmware updates have fixed the issue completely for me.

The issue is definitely still there for me after both the November and the firmware update.

This is probably not a high priority issue for MS right now, although the way they brag about continuum being almost magic, you would think getting these bugs worked out would be a priority.

Same issue here. More annoying than anything, especially with the constant display driver issues.

More often than not it happens while I am reading an email or message and all of a sudden everything expands full screen and jumps in to tablet mode.

Yeah, I'm still seeing it, sorry. Funny enough, it happens every time when I open photoshop... the least touch friendly app, why switch it to tablet mode on that?

This is a very annoying "feature". I had my old SP3 set to auto switch and it worked flawlessly. With the SB, it seems to lose it's mind to the point where I had to turn the feature off. One time, right after it happened, the USB driver for a dongle I have attached bombed. So, I think it has something to do with it thinking that the keyboard is no longer attached momentarily. At least that's my theory.
