really hate windows 10, cant find anything,

[Windows Central Question]

i had 7, upgraded to 10 and realised that i was too late to change back. i have plugged in my camera via usb like i used to do to upload my photos. Nothing! not even viewing. I found settings auto play and clicked all the appropriate uploading photo stuff..NOTHING. So i plugged in the data card directly into the laptop. NOTHING.
any suggestions

can you at least see the photos using file explorer?
