Recently switched to Windows Phone, Got lots of questions!

I've recently switched from an iPhone ( 5s to be exact) to Nokia Lumia 730 cause I drowned my iPhone in river! First things I loved was screen and the size! Surfing thru operating system I found it fun, yet some of the things are annoying! So please help me with solution or workarounds!

1. Camera doesn't have HDR. Though i heard there's rich capture or something that's Windows phones HDR! I didn't find in the Lumia camera too! Any answers to it? And the camera lacks detail and is too soft and out of focus with no dynamic range at all!

2. I was unable to call via Facebook messenger! Is it only me or Windows phone lacks it?

3. No video call on Viber! But its available on Windows 8 PC version! I thought they were universal app!

4. Most of the games ( Asphalt 8, Dungeon Hunter, Modern combat 5, Lara Croft: Relic Run ) lags too much with frames drops everywhere and everytime even though I've installed them on class 10 memory card! Or Lumia 730 I'd actually a slow device?

5. I can't focus in front camera! Fixed focus?

6. Any good client for Dub smash?

1. Rich Capture available for high end phone, though it's rumored that W10 will bring it to 730 as well.
2. WP lacks it, let us blame Facebook and Microsoft together.
3. Yep, Universal App on Windows 8 doesn't share lots of code, it's practically a different app, what universal is the payment system. This'll change on W10.
4. Yes, Snapdragon 400 isn't a fast processor and intended for mid end devices, and SD card is slow, even class 10/UHS-1. You would want minimum of Snapdragon 800 to match iPhone 5 performance.
5 and 6. No idea.

Welcome to Windows Central Ayush,

You should have asked yourself these questions before you bought the 730 but anyhow.

1 No the Lumia Camera app for 730 has no HDR but may get it with windows 10.
For picture quality you should have read some reviews but we have lots of 730 owners who are happy with the pictures quality. (But opinions differ)

2 I do not have Facebook messenger but is there is a button to make a call it should work on all Windows phone. And if there is no button no Windows phone can make a call.

3 Not possible may come with an update.

4 Try to see how they work if you place them on internal memory. If it is the same then that is the level you get with this phone. Not sure what you mean with slow device but reading a review before you bought it may have given you an answer. But the 730 is a low/middle end device so don't expect high end performance.

5 Fixed focus as indicated in the spec.

6 Don't know but I read some where that Dubsmash may come to Windows phone (but time will tell)

1. The 730 does not come with that feature. You need a higher end WP (830 or higher)

2. Windows Phone FB messenger does not support calling

3. It is a universal app but it does lack video calls att. It is suppose to get a update soon

4. Again you need a higher end phone for those games (L930/Icon, HTC One, L1530)

5. Again I dont think that phone comes with OIS. (L830, L930, and L1520)

6. Don't know about that have to look into it

Already some great answers in there... For HDR try ProShot. I really rely on that one for HDR and love the way the settings persisit. I rely on Camera360 Sight for speed, streamlined interface and Real Time Filtering, plus after shot edits.
