Red and green flashing lights?

Hi, I recently got a red and green flashing light

Red - Green - Pause - Red - Green - Pause

My phone was extremely hot at that point of time, so does it mean overheating? (will upload a video later)

My phone has recently been heating for no particular reason though. Was on battery saver mode.

Those lights mean that your phone is overheating. I've seen this happen when watching a long video or using a GPS app for an extended time.

so what can i do about it i think my phone is overheated and red light flashing am able to fix it?

On my 8XT, it would happen when I would be playing music, using nav, and being plugged in to the charger all at the same time. Usually, unplugging it and letting it cool down would fix it.
