Wow, they call themselves "gadget news" and they didn't even mention the Redfly in their list of "similar devices". I'm not a crazy ****** but as Celio seems to be the only company with a functioning product in this space, that seems a bit...uninformed.
The problem with a one-device solution is that I switch phones every 6 months or so (though I have had the Touch Pro that long and might stick with it for longer than usual due to its capabilities and the economy). I can't imagine adding $200+ to the cost of every phone I buy, not to mention the collection of e-waste of old terminal companions I'd accumulate!
What I do like, though, is the idea of giving the phone a beefed-up processor to handle the load of more intensive computing on the terminal. If you could set the processor into a phone mode (underclock) vs. a "terminal-connected" mode (max CPU) without overheating, the terminal experience would improve greatly.
