Regarding LTE

I've seen this question come up before but never saw an answer-- I'm buying the 2520 contract-free, but I like the idea of still having the LTE option in my back pocket, so to speak, and I was wondering if it'd be possible to swap in the SIM from my phone and have it work. As far as I can tell, both the tablet and my 1020 use a micro SIM, so it should theoretically fit, but I don't know if SIM cards for tablets are, like, fundamentally different or something. Forgive my ignorance, lol, I've just recently broken out of my old tech-deficient lifestyle and am trying to learn all I can.

It should work by just popping in your phones SIM card.

It's how my father in law gets LTE on his Samsung Galaxy Tab

This is a common question. I've tested it for a minute or two. Used my L920 ATT sim and put it in my ATT 2520. Works.

I was wondering the same thing. I am thinking of buying the new Lenovo ThinkPad but do not want to pay for another data plan.

+1 Lumia 900 LTE sim card works fine in the tablet. I have an unlimited data plan and used it in the tablet for about an hour with no issues. The problem is the Lumia 2520 uses a micro sim card and the 1520 uses a nano sim card. It will be great when all sim cards are standardized on nano.

To be honest I was surprised that it worked and that at&t didn't have a fit.
