only remove preview for developers app is enough to quit beta and getting OTA updates orderly ?

or i have to plug my phone and use nokia software recovery tool to back only cyan to wait OTA updates ?

no one knows yet. cyan was stopped due to a bitlocker issue, but has been resumed on 3 models with more to come eventually. plus, we don't know exactly when denim will be released.

Theres no reason to quit, the cyan hitch is more than likely a one time fluke, I'd recommend play by ear.

Though if you wanna quit the dev preview, I believe you just run the dev preview app and uncheck the dev preview box (if I'm wrong post back and I'll figure out the exact steps for you)

I see no need to make this decision until the release is available and they announce that there's another problem with DP users getting the update.

The how is to use Nokia Software Recovery Tool to load the current production firmware and OS for your phone. This will wipe all data from your phone, so make sure you have good backups and know how to restore them before you start.

hes talking about getting out of the dev preview, not going back to a previous OS update.

He's talking about whether he needs to undo DP on his phone because he's worried that it will delay him from getting the Denim update when it comes out.

Removing the Preview for Developers app doesn't change the version of the OS that's running on the phone. It's that version that's blocking Cyan on phones running DP right now, otherwise we all could have just uninstalled the app and gotten Cyan, rather than having to go back to the production version. Maybe it will be different with Denim, assuming there's another problem that blocks it for DP users. The thing is, we don't know yet if there will be such a problem, or what the work-around will be if there is.

Before removing the PfD app, open it up and unenrol yourself from the DPP. Once the app confirms you've been unenrolled, you can uninstall the app. No need to factory reset or anything. You'll be wasting your time if you do.

If and only if there is a necessity to roll back to Cyan Microsoft will announce like last time to use Nokia Software Recovery Tool/ Nokia Software Tool install it and run it as administrator. Connect your phone and follow on screen instructions and you are set.

Highly recommended that you unenrol from Preview for developers and uninstall the app then back up your apps + settings to the latest state so when you roll back to Cyan you can get the whole thing back - Preview for Developers.
