Replace SP1 + iPad

Hey guys, right now I'm strongly considering swapping my iPad 4 and SP1 for the new SP3 ($999). Here's my thinking, and please tell me if this seems like a good idea.

Uses for iPad 4:

• UltimateGuitar tablature for music
• MusicNotes Sheet music
• movies, games, etc. for trips / plane entertainment
• general web browsing device
• FaceTiming family (also have iPhone and Macbook for this)
• Remote for iTunes playback from PC

Uses for Surface Pro 1:

• Use in research lab to power my USB microscope (so, I will always need a windows machine)
• Use in class to take notes / annotate PDFs

With my usage, do you think it best to hold on to upgrade either one device or the other, or buy a SP3 and replace both of them with the one device? Thanks guys :amaze:

Keep the iPad 4 and replace/ upgrade the SP1.

Get rid of them both. The surface pro 3 is such an improvement and not much that you can't do on it.
