Replacement Battery

My battery life is just terrible recently, with it being 2+ years old I'm thinking it's more a hardware then software issue. Has anyone had any luck replacing the battery? There are a lot on Ebay, but most of them are 3rd party. Just curious if anyone else has gone down this road.

I just ordered that battery on ebay should be here Friday, and it doesn't seem that hard to dismantle the Icon. I like my Icon has every thing I needs, and I don't want learn a new phone and its problems.
although I was looking at the Samsung ativ se, for a back up. for $74 not bad. I use Verizon
