My housing cover is black matte,so definetely the texture will be different from the gloss cover but still i want to check if it's as solid as the original one to see if it's really from good material...

Amazon has the factory back covers for the 520. I just got one and its a perfect fit for my 520. The cost is 8$; plus 4$ shipping. I got it in four days.

Did it come in any Nokia packaging or just the back cover in an envelope, is it genuine Nokia part?

Just the cover in a envelope; don't know if this means anything; but it has Nokia emprinted in the middle of the cover. Its Red, all they had listed was red and yellow.

If you have a wife; don't let her see it or she is going to want it. I got a 520 to backup by 820 and after I changed the back cover to red my wife just had to have it. So much for my backup. But I did decide to get a red back charging cover for my 820 so we both have red (hot) phones now.
