Replacing digitizer and display from a 925?

A friend of mine broke his 920's digitizer. As it would be more expensive to have it repaired that the phone itself, he was thinking about putting the display assembly from his broke 925 (MB issues, died a few months ago), thus making one working device out of the two.

Would it work, are the assemblies compatible?

It will not work the connectors are on different places etc.
