[Resolved] Does the 635 automatically turn on when usb charging?

Is the phone suppose to power up on its own when you connect the usb charger? Similarly, if charging and you power off, the phone then restarts on its own. It won't remain off and charge. Is this correct?

Yes and it's really annoying. I am a coder and lover of mobile devices and when i turn off a phone I expect it to stay off not have a will of its own and turn on all by itself.

I have phones from 5 different carriers I play around with and after I'm done I turn them off and charge them. Everyone but Windows phone cooperates.

I can't top off normally because of this turning back on under USB quirk. It's a hassle and frankly reminds me that WP isn't really "designed around me".
