Revert phone back to pre GDR2 update?

Is there any way of doing this? Since I installed the GDR2 update, my Ativ S has been running like a bag of nails. I can literally watch the battery drain away!!:unhappysweat:

Will do, however, I only have Bing weather, Sky News and Facebook installed.

Is there any difference in what a hard reset and a soft rest does?

Also, the original questions stands - is there a way to revert back to the original OS?

You don't want to revert. GDR2 fixes some important issue, chiefly the other storage issue. My Ativ has great battery on GDR2 and I have many apps running in the background. Try doing a phone reset.

Just go into settings, about, reset your phone.
