Rogers announces Nokia Lumia 920 going on sale tomorrow ?in select stores?

If they will let me buy it unlocked then i'll be happy. $550 is a great price.

$550 is the month-to-month price which requires some sort of contract.

The full off-contract price, which still won't be unlocked, is definitely higher.

No details on that yet.

Just chatted with a Rogers Wireless CSR and she said this is not official and there is not official announcement on the Rogers website.

She said the phone isn’t due until Nov. 12.


Then I chatted with a Windows Phone CSR and he said the phone is definitely not launching tomorrow.

He said we should expect it in about two weeks.



This is becoming very frustrating and stupidly confusing!

I just called my local Rogers store and the person on the phone said they are getting their Windows Phone 8 meeting/training done at the end of this week and that we should expect this by next week.

He advised I reserve one on the Rogers website.

no its coming tommorow and I cannot see it being 550.

We got a memo for training this week and a internal memo as the event was happening stated the 920 would launch first in the coming days and all other devices in the next few weeks

There is an update here inside the article saying that the phone is coming to select stores today. More like a confirmation of what was said yesterday.

is it possible to buy the phone straight from Nokia? I want the cyan version, but black is only available here in Canada.

only 1 out of every single store in vancouver knew about the device MAYBE coming today (but they didnt have it). everyone else said no.

fake release until someone reports actually buying one somewhere.
