Rumour: Nokia may get 1 month Windows Phone 8 exclusive

I thinks this is 100% BS, its never been done before and would do nothing but Hurt WP sales in general.

it would piss off other OEM's and make it even harder for them to get in the game when its already almost NOT worth it for them to be making WP as is.

only time will tell , but i wouldn't put to much into this.

I hope it doesn't.. ( I dont want a Nokia lol:happy: )

Is that a way of spinning that nobody else wants to launch a WP8 right out of the gate?

Nice, just what this forum needed. Another Android troll.

I appreciate the Nexus 7 signature too, that's a nice touch. Teknha would be proud.

Forget the head start, will the hardware have a lust factor and appeal to other than ourselves. An N8 type camera, 1080p video, a Lumia type body and a nice quad-core snap dragon with at least 1 gig of RAM.

Rumors suck. Let's stick to the facts. We are technical people here, aren't we? Facts. Logic. Sense.

No rumors.

Well if you can recommend a 7" windows tablet to go along with my lumia 800 I love to know what it is. I know for the less... mature members of the mobile nations forums you have to love your OS and have a tattoo of Bill Gates on your back but adults can get their head around the the idea that someone might use devices using different OSes.

Seeing that 2 of Lumias (rumors) will be revealed on September 5th, the exsclusive 1 month is cooping with this rumor very nicely. I sure hope Nokia will bring a real flagship this time.

Nokia is going to dominate sales of WP8 whether they launch ahead of the other OEMs or not so probably does not matter. If another OEM cough cough samsung would actually quit retooling android devices and design something special for WP8 I think they would put themselves in a great position for sales numbers but I just don't see that happening.

If I had to bet without knowing obviously any details yet on hardware my next phone is probably going to be a Nokia WP8 device.

I was referring more to your comment, the signature was just the icing on the cake.

Believe me I don't have a tattoo of Bill Gates. I'm typing this on a MacBook Air and until Windows 7 I wasn't much of a fan of MS at all.

I used to be a fan of Android, until I actually owned some Android devices for a year and saw what utter crap they are. Then I started to learn more about Google and how they do business and I decided I am definitely not a fan of Google or Android.

But I can understand the appeal of the Nexus tablet completely and why you might buy one. Seems like an amazing deal for the money. If they actually get a good selection of tablet optimized apps in the Marketplace I think it could be a good competitor. At least it's a Nexus device, which automatically makes it suck 20% less than every other Android tablet.

I don't see myself buying a tablet again anytime soon though, and when I do it will definitely be a Win RT tablet or an iPad because I wouldn't trust Android to operate my garage door opener after my experiences with it.
