Sad face :-( then it shows the logo then to the cogs and this keeps repeating over and over, what can I do?

sad face :-( then it shows the logo then to the cogs and this keeps repeating over and over

on my lumia 435 it shows the Microsoft logo the it shows the windows logo for a split second then it shows the 2 cogs with the white line underneath then it shows a black screen with this :-( over and over what do I do????

Use the windows device recovery and reload windows phone 8.1 on it. That really is your only option I'm afraid.
