Sad times :(

First the good news

So been using a 920 for a few months and its an utterly awesome device, been really good for me, love the OS, love how it all hangs together.

Now the bad news

Work had bought it and with changing my job in the next few days so have to hand it back and go back to my personal 4S, just setting it back up, and my god my first thought how bloody small it is, I liked the size of the 920.

Also being used to all the integration of social, people etc IOS feels like a massive step backwards.

The plan

See if my new job gives me a phone, if not, put up with the 920 for a few months to at least the Build event and see if the 928 is coming to the UK, then get Sim free or pick up another 920

I am still going to keep apace with what is going on here, so not going to vanish, but yes was lucky to get the 920, but to be fair since I had to order it, well was only going to get the best phone to evaluate it for office use.

At the start I was not sure if I would recommend it, but to be fair to Nokia the updates have pretty much sorted it all out, now if MS can please for the love of god let me have traditional VPN support be even more happy.

But using my iphone now, just shows how much iOS has not changed or innovated the overall experience. It is simple things like the entire social integration on the device, but then they go and spoil it with the music playback.

But yes I will return to the windows phone fold as soon as bloody possible

I thought about it, I could get an 820 or a 920 Sim free now, but being on support in new job and them being a total MS house who knows, plus with the 928 and this Catwalk one knocking about, and BUiLD coming up I think I will just hold off and put up with the iphone.

I would sell that 4s, plus a little adding, and bought me a new 920 Here in Serbia, u might get that transaction for 100€.
The 4s is here worth about 300€ used, the Lumia920 can be found for cca 400€ NEW. So if travelling to Serbia is not a biggy for u, contact me, we can always arrange something

Whew for a minute I thought this was a negative thread, what a relief. Anyway with the new job, if it pays more you'll be able to actually buy a 920 of your own and then sell the iPhone to recoup the costs. Meaning that in some cases you may even get a free phone because some people are willing to pay anything for an iPhone.

While I love the 920 I am going to wait for a month or three to see what happens with the new Nokia devices
