Hey everyone

I have a lumia 900 and I love it.

I have noticed recently some sites I go too that have embedded
YouTube videos in articles a message is there saying I need flash

I tested the same sites on an iPhone 4 and u can play them.
Same for some videos via video.

Since both browsers don't support flash why would this be ?

For an example on my own website In Touch Media - Ottawa DJ Service - In Touch Media
I cannot play the vimeo vids under recent videos
Or under my gallery but on ios its fine.

I tested a few more sites that have YouTube. Even the banner on my site doesn't display on the lumia. Are we really inferior ?

I meant I tested videos via vimeo too.

Well you can go to youtubes mobile site and watch videos. m.youtube.com

It just uses a different codec. Visiting sites outside of youtube with ie9 i have noticed much the same. Safari just translates the page better.

I know there are apps, but why wouldn't MSFT make em play in the browser on all pages like in safari ? It might get fixed in ie 10 on 8 but if a 3gs can do it on ios 4 then 7.5 should be on par.

the workaround for this issue is to click on the video title instead of the play button.
