It's going to be very, very difficult, but Microsoft need to get out from under OpenAI. That company, rightly so, is going to sell it's services to whoever wants them, and Microsoft are going to be left with an AI offering that will have zero differing features. OpenAI will, through no fault of theirs, cost Microsoft any lead they have in AI.
