The new Samsung SmartThings Wifi, Hub and Sensors.
Mesh networking, a new hub and sensors round out the company's connected home aspirations.
Samsung today announced a revamp of its mesh networking system, featuring the new SmarThings Wifi system, plus a new SmartThings hub and sensors.
The SmartThings Wifi system uses the smarts of Plume (which Samsung previously invested in) to keep everything talking to each other as quickly as possible. Each Wifi router covers 1,500 square feet. It's available today at $119 for a single device, and a three-pack goes for $279 and can cover a 4,500-square-foot space.
