Screeching with 'shutter' open

I did some searching but can't find anyone with the same issue. The screeching only happens when the 'shutter' is open, not during the lengthy capture and saving process. This makes the phone unusable in key situations where discreetness is necessary. I had to record a university presentation today; because of the horrendous screeching we had to lug along a DSLR instead.

So, my two questions are: has anyone encountered this problem and knows a fix; and what is the best way to contact Nokia in Holland to have it fixed?

Addenda: phone has never been mishandled, let alone dropped. It's about five months old.

Wow, turns out I should've looked better. If a mod could close this thread, or perhaps merge the post with this thread, I'd be grateful.
