Screen casting when in continuum mode

On a normal pc we have software that can record a video of what happens on the screen but I wonder how we can do this for devices that have continuum? I'm guessing an app will have to be developed but is there one already?

If you cast to a desktop with the connect app (in Anniversary Update) then you can likely record on that using existing software.

I doubt you can get a native app on the phone due to api limitations.
