Sorry if opened a similar thread some days ago but didn't find any response.

Just wanted to know what is considered NORMAL/ACCEPTABLE for the greenish tint of the display when looking at an angle?

I have to look at mine exactly straight to have like a very subtly reddish tint that would turn into greenish just with a slight tilt of the diaplay. All that in white/light grey backgrounds. Is that normal?

Can you take and post a pic? even with pc webcam. Your phone could have an oled display, haven't it?

Today I had a look at a store and another 950XL seemed to have the same problem, but I found the greenish tint when tilted problem on a 950 as well, even though I couldn't notice a reddish tint when looking at a straight angle. Compared whith a S7 edge and didn't seem to have that problem so notoriously

Out of curiosity, why do you care how it looks at an angle? If it looks off color, don't look at it like that.

2 main reasons.
Many times, specially with a screen that size, I just find it uncomfortable to watch the screen on a perfect 90 degree angle. Even, being the screen so big, you can't look straight at the whole screen so either the top or the bottom will acquire that greenish tint while the other end will look different (reddish).
Second, when I look at the screen straight it gets like a reddish tint so I don't know if that is the real colour either, what I consider annoying for a phone that price that all reviews stated it has calibration grade colour rendition. The problem accentuates if you are working in something related to design and want the colours as accurate as possible.
And by an angle I don't mean an extreme angle but even just a slight tilt.

I noticed that too.

But as the video showed, the color tint issue only occurs at angles that are not probably viewed in daily normal uses. Do you really need to see your phone at such angles?

Yeah, I can perceive it in mine if slightly tilted but much less notorious than what you show. Nice case!

mine have color tint phenomenon only when viewed at very tilted angle as you can check in the video i uploaded.

Hi!
I have the same problem, I've even though of change the display! It's annoying because I love the phone and now the only thing I see its the horrible tint.
Do you think it's tolerable this fail? Its the same thing with others screens?

Hi, i have problem with gray colors on my lumia 950 xl. For example when i have gray background such as setting have. On higher brightness setting gray is true gray but when i change brightness to lower settings gray start showing greenish tint, usually visible in dark. Is that normal on amoled displays or i have defective device?

left side brightness 15% right side 100%
