Screen Unresponsive/Total Blackout

So I was using my phone as normal, when the screen flickered green and black and went off. The sound is fine, the buttons along the bottom are responsive, but the screen is completely black and I cannot access anything. Incredibly stressed out, lots of important things I need on there.

Any ideas? I've done a soft reset, unwilling to do a hard reset as I can't afford to lose anything.

Please shed some light on to what the problem could be!

have you dropped your device recently? if there has been no physical damage induced by accident , i belive you must pay a visit to an authorized service center for an inspection .
