Search in windows...help

By all that is holy, WHY did MS change their search function? It used to be so easy, check the box for file type, check the box for dates, etc.

Now you have to know a the complete syntax to know how to search for a file.

All I want to do is search for a certain file type (don't know the name of the file) and a date.

Hi! Not exactly sure what your asking. I use a freeware program called Search Everything. It's a great program. You might give it a look and see if it's some thing that might help you! Welcome to Windows Central!
