Searching Contacts by Phone Number

I have Lumia 920 and it has the latest software update (Lumia Black), but still i cant search my contacts by number. its a basic feature in IOS & Android. does any one know if Microsoft is willing to solve this basic issue?

I guess most people use names instead of numbers when wanting to call someone.

If they plan to add this feature in future updates is unknown or as someone might say, maybe unnecessary?

Sometimes you may store numbers in another phone or you write it in a note book or a piece of paper without name and you want to know who's number is that.

I use Easy Dial for that purpose, but i wonder why its not an inherent feature in the system.

people search is an awesome app. i am using it since it was in beta.
try it out. u can search in any field, like number, email, address, etc.
