Just to add to the conversation. After AU I have several USB Sticks that are experiencing the same issue. Plug into AU Windows machine and it shows unallocated cannot mount the drive. Go to an Non-AU machine, and USB stick functions correctly.
This is not limited to certain types of drives. I see it being reported on the AnandTech forums as well.
Giving this a bump -- I've stopped Windows Updates because of this issue. Has anyone heard whether the problem has been corrected, or are we still waiting for a solution?
If I haven't installed the AU yet will the fix remain after the update??I can confirm that new cumulative update (KB3189866) fixed this problem. I had one WD 1TB drive showing up as "RAW", and it is working fine now.

If by that you mean will the fix be available after AU update, then YES.
