Severe battery drain on my 1020 since last week's update

Up until last week - I was experiencing awesome battery life. After the last update - I'm now experiencing fast battery drain. Settings are identical - low brightness, Cortana is off, Glance is off, virtually nothing running in the background.

Phone came off the charger at 7:00 and I'm now at 45% ( 8 hours with very little useage). Before the update I would normally be at 80% or greater.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Take a look @ IE in Battery Sense, it's the top battery consumer (even if you don't use it).
I found allowing it to run in the background gentler on the battery, than NOT allowing.

OP: It's the same for me except I'm not sure my battery drain is as bad as yours. At the moment I've switched off Location and other odds...the drain has slowed though not necessarily because of that.....see the thread below with title starting L920 in brackets where decaf19 suggests among other things a battery calibration, which I shall be trying properly after phone charge has got very low.

I noticed my 1020's battery started to get worse at the moment...

but I'm not sure if it's because of the 8.1.1 update, or the phone's age, or my poor management of usage...
