SHAREit; Can't transfer full folders, why not?

OS Win10 Pro and Win10 Home
Although their help page says we can transfer folders this does not seem to be true. It says to click on the folder and the name will come out but it doesn't. Even if I write in the folder's name it will not accept it.
I have about 800G to move over to my new PC and as is would take a year to complete. It would be faster for me to just save all to an external and take it from there but I would prefer a direct transfer thus saving me half the time.
The other thing that bothers me is that I could not control where it moves files to. Now it saves files from within a folder to the new computer's 3 different folders: Images to images, files to files and sound files to sound files. which requires me to then move all those back to where they need to go to. Another time waster.
Any advice would be appreciated

It seems that ShareIt doesn't allow entire folders to be shared, just files. Therefore, and it'll be a pain, you could just zip up every folder to create a single file, transfer those, and extract them at the other end.
