Sharing Outlook.com calender with iOS/Google

So I switched to to WP8 from WP7 and when I did that, I went ahead and made the switch over from Gmail/Google services to using my Hotmail/Outlook address as the primary calender and contact account for my phone. Problem is I can't seem to share my Outlook calender with my wife's iPhone. I tried to share it through her Gmail account, which is the way I had it before, and it says the permission has been revoked when I click on the "Accept" button through her email. I've also tried to share to her iCal but it doesn't seem to read it either. I can import the file but it won't keep it updated so that's useless. Any tips or suggestions?

On an Android phone, you have to have the app Outlook.com. Probably need an iphone app, not sure though.

I do not have an iPhone but I would start at Outlook calendar sharing.
