Should I buy a One Plus One or a Lumia 830?

Does the OnePlus One have any calling issues? Please tell me.

My friend have this device.

He has no complaints.

However

You can check this on Android central and oneplus one forums for issues.

I do not own this device but i am also planning to buy 1+1 or 1+2 if possible.

As someone that owns and uses both, I would say it depends on what you want out of it.

OS aside, there are some important differences.
My 1+1 has a much better battery life and comes with much more storage out of the box (if you have an SD card, this may not be an issue). You were asking about call quality and I can say that its... Ok. Nothing special, but not great like Lumias.

On the flip side, my 830 has a removable battery, takes better pictures, and just kinds feels more premium (if that's something you care about. The metal makes it feel expensive).

I saw that you buy the one plus one as it you get better specs for the money, and it could be a better experience. The oneplus 1 runs close to stock android and it wont be a bloated experience like other android devices. The 830 is also a very good device, but the oneplus 1 is a better device overall.

i have been using a lumia 520 and just broke it a couple of days ago. for a new phone i'm confused between one plus one which gives more value for money or a lumia 830 and i like the windows phone interface.. can someone help me decide.

India?then no use buying the one plus one.Micromax has filed a case against one plus as they have the distribution rights for INDIA.So you will get the phone with stock android and not cm 11s.You will have to flash cm11s and maybe this phone will not get anything above cm12(Lollipop).The 830 is better, its gonna get windows 10 too

Might want to consider the 930. In the US they seem pretty similar in price. MS Store sells a no contract ATT 830 for 400$ but with a free Fitbit (or 260$ on Expansys), whereas Expansys sells the 930 for 390$. It looks like Expansys also sells the OnePlus One for about 400$. If that's the case, I'd say the 930 gives specs a lot closer to the OnePlus One with Windows Phone (you do lose twice the storage though it seems and a smaller screen).

OP is from India and there is around $180 price difference between the above two phones and 930 which is huge.

As far as my advice goes I suggest u wait for a little bit as excellent devices like the Lumia 640 XL and Asus Zenfone 2 are about to launch in India for around the same prices and offer a better deal at the price.

One Plus One, Great specs, beautiful display, great battery life, it's really really SMOOTH !!, customizable all the way (more than usual Android device), looks Great. Plus if you want Microsoft apps, you have them all. Windows Phone phone fan up or down, for that price and option One Plus One is a clear winner. Like someone said it's heaven in the hand. :)

Afaik the Asus zenfone 2 won't get updates like the one plus one. And on top of that isn't it masked by a bloated asus zen ui??

You own the phone? There are alot of phone launched around the time 1+1 launched that are on Android 5.x Lollipop and my 1+1 is sitting on 4.4.4 KitKat.

Plus Asus skin is not bloated at all. Just a little flashy.

To the OP; Both are good choices. But first choose your ecosystem, then choose your device. If you want Windows, 830/640 LTE/640XL LTE are excellent choices. Ont the android side you 've got 1+1, Asus Zenfone 2 (z3580-4GB RAM)
