Should I buy Lumia 930 or should I wait for Windows 10 announcement

Hi Everyone,

Bought Lumia 720 1 year ago to test windows OS and Now I am in love with it.
I want to get a new flagship phone. Thinking to get Lumia 930 but I will miss glance screen.

Should I get 930 or should I wait for Windows 10 announcement?
Things I care about a phone.
1. Design
2. Camera.
3. Speed.
4. Any new features that might be available in New windows 10 phones but not available in 930?

Hi. You remind me of the problem I had back in August. Had to choose between sticking to a 620, or getting a 1520/930. I choose to get the 1520. Why? Because I dont think there will be any new feature in W10, that'll be incompatible with the 1520/930. W10, for the most part, will just be a visual and functional overhaul. At least that's my opinion, seeing how it worked on the PC. The Snapdragon 800 + 2 GB RAM combination is still formidable, and it'll be able to make it through 2015. Plus, as we've seen with Denim, features just keep coming. Glance, well, that's a bummer, but I think the bigger problem is the lack of SD card. If you can manage that 32 Gigs well, then, without hesitation, go for the 930. Its an awesome design (haven't personally held it, but from popular opinion), the Camera just keeps getting better (Denim) and it barely lags in speed or performance. Go for it!

The L930 battery is nothing special either but other than Glance features the L930 should receive the full W10 update.

As for those other features, I think the L930, being that it's WP, pretty much ticks all those boxes. However, I'd check one out in person to be on the safe side. It's hard to determine if the design works for you or not without actually holding one.

If you can wait another 6 to 12 months you can wait.
But the 930 is nice upgrade for the 720.
And new high end phones have most time new features like faster IC or "harder" glass.
But I do not believe at all that a new flagship will make the 930 look like a tortoise.
If I was you I would try to buy a 930 if a shop has a (big) discount or a second hand.

I'm eligible for a replacement for my 8X in February, but I'm going to wait to see what WP 10 phones are available through Verizon. I don't want to be stuck with either another HTC or previous generation Lumia if I can help it.
