You should wait I think, my experience with 8.1 so far hasnt been great. Cortana is good and all but 8.1 brought issues with itself to my phone which I just I knew earlier.

I am hoping windows 10 would fix those

If it is not a priority you should probably wait. Unless you are buying used/refurbished, then in this case you should hop right in!

Lumia 925 is ~$80-$115
Lumia 928 is ~$75-$100
Lumia 1020 is ~$125-$180
Lumia 1520 is ~$200-$250

I just got a 930 for ?180 and offset this by px my old HTC One M7 so ended up paying ?65 for the 930. Will get Win 10 when released and for the time being I'm happy with this for my first Windows Phone.

I would wait for new windows 10 phones with Continium. I am hoping they make a Samsung galaxy note type phone with a digital pen similar to surface. I honestly don't understand the point of windows phone if they are going to make cortona on android and iphone, plus tweaking windows 10 to make sure it works with your iphone and android properly. I have a htc one m8, I know its going to last me a long time until they make a galaxy note type windows 10 phone with continuim

I'd wait if you could. If and when the flagship device show up you can then decide on whether or not the price is worth it. I'm sure the older 8.1 phones will drop even lower and you'd have a bigger selection.

Now if you decide on it today; just realize the features you may miss out.

The real question is do you NEED on right now?
