Should MS buy Square?

Mobile payments leader Square may be on the market. Apple and Google both have been rumored as suitors. I think a Square purchase would make sense for MS. MS has always had a strong relationship with businesses, and this would help bring tens of thousands of small businesses into the fold. Also, it provides another advantage to MS products to be able to integrate Square with other MS services. Third, MS would be a leader in the mobile payments space right away rather than just starting out.

I could definitely see them being a good fit for Microsoft. I know that Apple plans on getting into the mobile payment business and with Square, Microsoft could have a real edge. Make Square more than a reader (if it's not already). Let it save your cards so you can pay all while mobile.
