Shut down mode: stuck in endless loop???

[Windows Central Question]

shut down mode: stuck in endless loop???

Unable to force shutdown. Power button turns off unit but when I power up, it's still in
shutdown screen.

This has happened to me also.
My solution was to remove the battery for a few minutes ( I kept mine out for 5 minutes) then reinsert battery and power phone on. It worked for me. Good Luck!
