Sim Error

Hello, I have seen quite a few posts about people getting the sim error but curious as to what phone they have.

I have a HTC 8X and occasionally get it but usually cleaning the sim slot etc. fixes it.

My Girlfriend had a sim error on her 8S. Right out of the box it said something along the lines of the sim being missing or invalid. Took it back and they played around with it for a while with various sims and couldn't get it going so the phone was replaced. How long have you had your 8X for? I would suggest that the problem will probably become more frequent so if it's a new unit you may want to get it replaced

Got the same problem with an HTC 8S. Everybody is talking about the HTC 8X sim problem but it seems they are not alone having this issue. Looking for answers.
