Since Windows 10, I cannot send or receive emails on my home computer. What do I do?

Windows Central Question

When I try to sync a folder, it just tells me it can't connect to my server or there's some other problem.

I can access my emails for the same home account on my work computer because it does not have Windows 10.

I wish I'd never accepted the upgrade. It has cost me hours and hours of time and much missed communication.

Me to. It's really hit & miss if I get my business emails, including using Thunderbird as my email client as well as Outlook. Win10 has also prevented me accessing my emails via webmail. It's a real problem & no one seems to know what to do about it.
