Skype crashing after update 11.10.146

Skype preview was updated to 11.10.156 this morning. After the update the app can't launch on my phone (lumia 950). Anyone with a similar experience? Any suggestions to a possible workaround or fix?

Well, it seems to be a general issue ☹. I still get notifications in the action center from Skype, which is a bit weird. I have reported the the issue to the feedback hub.

Yes also answering messages through notification center is working fine. Seems "only" the main UI is not working.

Soft reset & re-install made no difference. It appears this is a broken update. Hopefully they fix this immediately.

Same problem on my 950xl. Did a reset, no help. Tried uninstall, reset, and reinstall... No help. So, I guess we just wait for a fix

Similar issue on Mobile (L950) & PC. Both on Release Preview. I've provided feedback & monitoring data for both systems. Hope they get this sorted out soon.

I just checked for updates and Skype Preview updated to 11.10.147.0

Lets hope its fixed

Update: I set Skype Preview as the default messaging app and it all seems to be working again. It did take about 2 to 3 minutes to sync with my texts before it would let me send texts.
