Skype TV replacement?

With MS retiring Skype for TV, are there any options for me to use the integrated webcam on my TV to continue using Skype? I assume I could buy a cheap PC and use it as a media center, but wondering if I could do even better with an XBOX. Could that somehow detect the web cam on my TV (Panasonic TC-P65VT60)? Any help would be appreciated!

I don't believe you can use any ol' webcam with the XB. The Kinect is pretty cheap for the 360 and has come down in price for the One tho.
