When I first got my Band back in March, I was borrowing a Lumia 920 because my phone was broken. Around the end of August, I got a 640 XL. I've been noticing that notifications to my Band (and now my new Band 2) have been very slow recently. I'm not sure if I noticed the change when I switched phones, or if the slow notifications started when I was still using my cousin's 920.
For the first several months I had the Band, I would feel the phone vibrate in my pocket when receiving a text. The notification would then show up on the Band in about the time it took to lift my arm and look at my wrist. Now, it seems like there is usually about a 10-15 second delay before the Band displays the message. I've also noticed that when I receive phone calls, I don't receive the notification from the Band until I've missed the call and it goes to voicemail or several seconds after I've answered the phone call.
Again, even after getting the Band 2 over the weekend and syncing it with my 640 XL, I'm noticing the same issue with slow notifications. Has anyone else noticed this issue with the 640 XL being slow to communicate with the Band compared to other phone models?
