Smartcam gone with new Lumia Camera ? (Denim)

I upgraded m'y Lumia 930 to Denim and got the new Lumia Camera App. I saw that the smartcam mode was gone. I had to download the Lumia Camera Classic App.

Do they actually plan to remove that feature ? Not sure what to think...

Who knows?. Maybe they think it's easier to shoot a 2-4 sec 4K video where you can pick out a shot you like.

For Lumia 930 the moment capture is better, because the frames from 4k video are higher quality than pics from smart cam.
