Hello, since yesterday my Lumia 550 is bugging me every time I open the SMS app with this message: "We need your number - To get group chat, read notifications and other Chat features, you'll need to tell us your phone number." (the phone is configured with Italian language, so I've written the translated version of the message using this post, which seems to refer to the same problem: http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-10-mobile-insider-preview/392957-we-need-your-number-group-chat.html).
Yesterday I moved to Vodafone: I don't know if the two things are related. I only know that I use SMS app very rarely and when you change operator you receive many more text messages than usual, so this may be the reason why I've noticed the problem. More probably, it depends on a recent system upgrade.
